Imran Khan condemns abuse, harassment on Social Media

In a very late confession that Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf is used to use derogatory langue about political opponents and critics, Chairman Imran Khan Wednesday strongly condemned abuse and harassment on Social Media, especially targeting of women.

PTI supporters are famous for insulting everyone who disagree with its policies or some time criticize its performance. They never accepted their weaknesses.

Imran Khan said it was unacceptable for those claiming to be PTI supporters and PTI insafians to harass and abuse anyone on social media, especially women.

“PTI can make its case effectively based on its policies, positions and ideology. We do not need to be, nor should we ever be abusive" against people as that only undermines the Party and Its cause,” he said.

“For Insaf to be done the process/behaviour should also be one of Insaf,” Khan said in a statement.

"How we conduct ourselves reflects on our Party and ideology. There is no room for abusers and harassers in PTI," Khan concluded.

Imran Khan previously never focused on the behaviour of its activists that encouraged them to use abusive language for critics.

PTI’s supporters even threatened senior journalists and columnists when they criticized the party’s policies.
